My guess is he tries to separate some of his interests from others so he doesn't lose credibility. Sometimes you can catch him on Coast to Coast AM. He's also a speaker at some MUFON events. He created the Can Am Missing site for disappearances. Most of his bigfoot related stuff is under the NABS. which are indeed real but he has written that they share earmarks with purported UFO abductions. He will not be pinned down on what he thinks is behind the disappearances. Initially he was looking into them as bigfoot attacks.
At some point at a conference he was approached by two national park service employees that said he should look into disappearances in the National Parks. For a time he was doing bigfoot investigations and has written two books based on interviews and investigations of reports from tribes along the Klamath River. Found it on Amazon Prime, if you cant find it, type it in, it is very very interesting. it called "MISSING 411, THE HUNTED" they have taken the last 10 or so years and combined all the weird circumstances Hunters have gone missing and have never been found, all over the USA and I am not just talking "novice" hunters I mean very well experienced, well seasoned hunters, that are in excellent shape, that went missing and have never been found or any of their Gear. but after watching this, I am in absolute AW!. I have been a Hunter and fisherman for the last 50+ yes I have been turned around in Elk country in the heavy mist and fog or snow, but have always kept my level head and walked out.

I don't know if I am late with this or not if I am, sorry but I just got done watching the most interesting piece on lost Hunters I have ever seen, being a former sniper in Vietnam, I spent a few times lost, dodging Tigers, Vietcong, traps etc, when I served my service duty plus a extended duty.
